The Passenger
by Cormac McCarthy
Review by Bel
This is one hell of a literary noir existential thriller with incredibly meaty dialogue. Not as gory or violent as his others, but every inch as eerie, strange, sinister, and challenging. He’s certainly not for everyone – there’s no sitting back and relaxing here – this is active reading to feed and expand your brain. It’s a book that haunts my peripheral vision as I go about my day and I’m hanging out for the soon to be released (dec) sequel. Highly recommended for hungry readers.
