Now Is Not The Time to Panic

This is a novel about art, creativity, and the intensity of adolescence, set in the sweltering heat and suffocating boredom of small-town Tennessee in 1996. Funny, fast-paced, a little chaotic, the story follows 40-something-year-old Frances as an event during the summer she was 16 catches up with her. It’s a love letter to small town life, to the grunge and energy of the 90’s, to the joy and devastation of living and loving as a young person. Nostalgic, hilarious, and very compelling.
