These tiny stories – impressionistic, madcap, and often achingly beautiful – are an absolute delight to nibble on. Great to pick up when you get into bed after a long day and only have a few minutes before your eyes close. Kooky dreams guaranteed! Very quick to read, but lots to ponder afterwards. Astounding how she can create a whole, complex world and big feelings in just a few odd but hard-working sentences! Highly recommended, especially for fans of the brilliant Frankie McMillan’s The Wandering Nature of Us Girls.
