Darrow's beautiful, detailed artwork stunned me when I first saw Hard Boiled (with Frank Miller) and he has kept hitting it out of the park ever since. A friend of Moebius, he is working at that rarefied level and this series is a great place to start. A hybrid of martial arts and spaghetti westerns, all manner of fascists are calmly dispatched with gratifying efficiency.
