The DK Crochet Book
By DK
Review by Mida
This is the BEST crochet book for beginners! With detailed breakdowns of techniques, beginner friendly projects to help you hone your skills and clear and detailed images -without any hands in the way!- this book is perfect for those looking to pick up the hobby. Almost everything for crochet is in here, and with an easy-to-navigate index, you can find your way back to any refreshers you might need. All the basic stitches are featured, and have a project to accompany them, so you can learn a stitch and then polish your technique.
One small note is that this is written with UK terminology, so those who are more familiar with US terminology might stumble a bit at the beginning but it will lead you through everything and anything that you might otherwise trip on.
This book taught me everything I need to know on how to crochet. I can’t recommend it enough!
