This is one of the most deeply romantic novels I’ve ever read. Casey McQuiston tells us a story of two people so interconnected within each other that even after four years apart they fall back into place effortlessly. This book was so lovely and emotional and sexual and so, so romantic. These characters love with their entire souls, the kind of love that makes you question if it could ever exist outside of fictional pages. The kind of love you dream of feeling and receiving. Along the way, we learn about food and wine, art and history, pastries and cocktails and cultures and language. McQuiston’s writing showcases their impressive talent and I am patiently anticipating their next work of art.
