Faebound
By Saara El-Arifi
Review by Angel
Faebound is an ethereal fantasy centred on the unbreakable bond between siblings. The story follows Yeeran, a fierce elven warrior, and her sister, Lettle, a hopeful diviner, as they’re exiled in the midst of a brutal war. Their journey leads them to the long-lost fae court, where intoxicating magic and dangerous alliances lie in wait. One of the things I love most about this book is its effortless queerness; diverse identities simply exist within the world and are woven seamlessly into the heart of the story. The morally complex characters, intricate lore, and evocative prose make Faebound an absolutely unforgettable read.
