I never knew I needed a wholesome single dad with heterochromia as a love interest until I read this book. I adored Aiden, his sexy-chef-with-a-heart-of-gold vibe combined with his devotion to his daughter Sophie make him the perfect gentleman and he feels very different to most male love interests in ways that make him all the more loveable. Watching Cassie win over Sophie will make your heart (and Aiden’s) explode. I loved the dynamic between Cassie and her 72 year old best friend Wanda and the way they incorporated her into their lives as well. It’s hot, it’s sweet and such an easy read for a comforting day.
