Time Shelter
by Georgi Gospodinov
Review by Livvy
An inquisitive, captivating and confronting story about grasping onto the past without embracing the inevitable future. Gospodinov captures the fragile complexities of humanity with compassion, all while questioning the direction in which we find ourselves heading. Weaving through different cities, time periods and narratives, Time Shelter puts the best (and worst) of humanity on display, and asks readers ‘where are we going if not forwards?’ An incredible piece of fiction that we will be discussing for years to come. Beautifully translated by Angela Rodel. For fans of Klara and the Sun by Kazuo Ishiguro.
