The Lincoln Highway
by Amor Towles
Review by Marija
From the brilliant author of A Gentleman in Moscow and The Rules of Civility, this novel is exactly my kind of read. Ah, the characters! A veritable motley crew, yet each one complete. Towles weaves themes of coming of age, morality, responsibility, friendship and, of course, love, without dropping a single strand. It’s a wonder. Sally’s chapter (pages 101 to 104) is a gem unto itself. I want to frame it! I couldn’t put this one down.
