Iruma is the world’s biggest pushover. After constantly being taken advantage of by his parents, the final straw is when they sell him – to a demon! But this demon actually just wants a grandson to dote upon. Thus, the utterly perplexed Iruma is sent to demon school!
What an absolute delight! One of my favourite comedy series that I’ve read in a long time. While the starting premise is pretty absurd, the story soon develops into a heartwarming and hilarious story of friendship, mischief and the power of fitting in by standing out together. The art is expressive and bizarre at times and the story isn’t without it’s small share of combat, but often conflict is resolved in ways you don’t see coming.
A perfect comfort read for fans of My Hero Academia or anyone in need of a light and funny pick-me-up.
