Scorpio Books warmly invites you to the Ōtautahi Christchurch launch of Coming In From The Cold: Tautoko Tāne enabling the wellbeing of male survivors of sexual violence by Bex De Prospo Carr, Fiona Clapham Howard and Tony Chamberlain. All welcome, refreshments provided. Please send in your RSVP.
ABOUT THE BOOK
This anthology features the courageous first-hand accounts of 26 male survivors of sexual abuse and violence in Aotearoa New Zealand. Through their eyes, we are able to see the environments and systems in which the abuses took place, the profound effects of those experiences, and the survivors’ reflections upon them as they navigate their lives. Their generous contributions illustrate the transformational power of connection, support, hope and aroha. As the heart of this work, their stories help to showcase more than two decades of mahi by Tautoko Tāne Aotearoa, detailed through a brief organisational history unfolded in four seasonal essays.
