The Marrow Thieves

This is a good for people who want their kids to read a book with more of a ‘moral’ lesson.
In the future, the world is polluted almost beyond salvation, and the general population have lost the ability to dream. The only people who have kept this ability – and their connection to the earth – are indigenous populations. The secret to this ability lies in the very marrow of their bones, and so they are being hunted down like bison to extract the capability to dream and return it to the general populous. We join our protagonist Frenchie, who is on the run with a group of other indigenous children in Canada. A mix of climate horror, colonization, sci-fi and realism. It’s hard to describe and a very unique concept.
