This was an incredibly fun read. The writing struck a remarkable balance between being fast-paced and entertaining without being too flippant or over the top, which is even more impressive given all of the fantasy tropes it mercilessly combines and stomps all over. The characters were also thoroughly enjoyable to read about, especially through the perspective of an amnesiac Evil Dark Wizard. I had a great time whenever I picked this up, and I highly recommend it.
