Book Review: Captain Danger and the Stupid Shadow

Captain Danger and the Stupid Shadow

Captain Danger, our pants-and-socks-wearing protagonist, has a shadow with a mind of its own.  When it cuts the corporeal Captain loose for a solo adventure, he sets out in pursuit, accompanied by his long-suffering dog Django.  Traversing seas, jungles, dark caves and a volcano, Captain Danger remains unshakeable in the face of danger. Witty and whacky, this early reader is illustrated by the author in a bold, graphic style that includes beautiful double-page spreads.

For fans of Traction Man is Here and  Jon Klassen’s The Skull.
