All The Beauty in the World
By Patrick Bringley
Review by Marija
This is certainly one of my favourite books this year. It is a gentle, thoughtful, wise, and an achingly haunting meditation on art, beauty and loss. I savoured every moment of it, and it left me filled both basking in a quiet joy, and utterly bereft. I shall never look at another work of art (or the quiet, self-effacing museum and gallery guards) with quite the same eyes.
Astounding.
