This book rocks! The creative team behind another firm favourite – Dazzlehands – makes more storybook magic in this story of a young boy who teaches his father that the emotional ‘rocks’ we carry only grow bigger if we ignore them. Some books with a message forget to tell a good story alongside the moral, but this one uses the rock metaphor in a funny, creative and poignant way.

Recognizably from Aotearoa, it is deftly pitched to prompt helpful conversations between children, parents and educators. In both English and Reo Māori editions, this is a new classic in the making.
