Little Weirds
by Jenny Slate
Review by Rosa
Little Weirds felt like a strange combination of shameless pre-teen secret sharing at a sleepover and the profound emotional intelligence of an elderly person who has been through some stuff. Combining memoir magical realism and just the straight up bizarre, Jenny Slate does not hold back from letting you deep dive into her inner world. This is a book which encourages you to be sensitive, to love over and over and to see the beauty in yourself and the world around you.
